Italian airport strikes set to cause ‘major disruption and delays’

Passengers travelling in and out of Italy are being warned of ‘major disruption and delays’ on 21 november 2017 due to industrial actions at airports.

Unionised staff, including security agents, ticketing agents and baggage handlers have threatened to strike at certain airports across the country between 1pm and 5pm local time.


Aeroflot warned its passengers flying from and to Rome today (21 November 2017)

Due to nationwide strike of ground handling personnel in Italy on 21 November from 12:00 to 16:00 UTC at Fiumicino airport, in particular, Aeroflot cancels SU2406/2407 flights.

Passengers will be carried by SU2408/2409 flights.

Delay will be 3 hrs 10 min/3 hrs 05 min.
