Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport has been evacuated after a suspicious package has been found. Passengers were requested to go onto the runway.
Passengers through terminal 1 and 2 could travel as normal. Some Ryanair flights got affected, those passengers were redirected to terminal 1.
In the afternoon Manchester police said the package was package ‘not a viable device’ and ‘not terror-related’. The terminal reopend shortly after the news.
