An Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A330 (LV-FNJ) scheduled for Buenos Aires had to abort take-off Thursday night after an engine stall. Passengers saw flames coming out of the engine but the airline clearly stated that there wasn’t a fire. After the aborted take-off the A330 returned to its gate.

The airline announced that the incident was caused by a turbine failure and that the aircraft will be back into service in a few days.

Aerolineas Argentinas is re-scheduling the passengers ASAP, and made reservations in New York hotels.
