British Olympian Sir Mo Farah claims that he was ‘racially harassed’ at a Munich Airport security checkpoint

Olympian Sir Mo Farah, the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic Games history, started broadcasting live on Instagram claiming that he was ‘racially harassed’ at a Munich Airport security checkpoint (Tuesday 6 March 2018).

Mo Farah captioned the Instagram movie with: “Sad to see racial harassment in this day and age. 2018…!!!

Bundespolizei Bayern quickly reacted on the incident and stated: “We emphatically reject the accusation of racism. Sir Mo Farah first disagreed with the routine passenger security check at Munich Airport. Afterwards he violated security regulations and disobeyed the following police order.
