Good news for the Airbus A380 fans, Malaysia Airlines will continue to fly its Airbus A380s to London as the airline steps back from plans to spin off the superjumbos into a new airline dedicated to Islamic pilgrimages.

All six A380s will now remain in Malaysia Airlines mainline fleet and be used across its network to add capacity during periods of high demand.

This will include mid-year flights to London, Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney and Melbourne, along with ‘ad hoc’ charters to Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah and Medina airports to cater for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages to Mecca.
