The Air France pilots union (SPAF) has sent a letter to the French minister of transport after Air France created a new subsidiary Joon. The unions are worried that Air France will be dismantled as Joon takes over flights. According to them the name Joon lacks the French identity and the traditional French know-how. “In French the word ‘Joon’ means nothing, aviation specialists and press are laughing with the name“, we want to draw your attention to it.

We are very attached to our airline, to its history and its image, we would like that France preserves our company and its values.
