Update on the strike actions at Air France (3 May 2018)

On Thursday, 3 May 2018, Air France plans to operate almost 85% of its flights:

  • 78 % of its long-haul flights;
  • More than 80 % of its medium-haul flights on departure to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle;
  • Close to 90 % of its short-haul flights, Paris-Orly and French provinces.

In view of a percentage of staff on strike, subject to the Diard law and expected to work on 3 May 2018, estimated at:

  • 18,8 % of pilots;
  • 18 % of cabin crew;
  • 10 % of ground staff.

The flight schedule is updated 24 hours in advance. Disruptions and delays are to be expected. Air France recommends its customers with a flight reservation on 3 May to postpone their trip.

Air France regrets this ongoing strike action at a time when company management has made several proposals to end the conflict and has launched a consultation with all staff on the agreement proposed on 16 April.
