• Up to five flights each day to Great Britain to the destinations of London and Manchester

Austrian Airlines is once again adding a new destination to its route network in the year 2015. Starting on September 10, 2015, it will fly up to once a day to Manchester. The city is an important industrial and cultural center and the hub of the Greater Manchester region, one of the most populous areas in England. In addition to the existing 28 weekly flights to London, the additional frequencies to Manchester up to seven times per week strengthen connections in both directions as well as the Austrian Airlines network.

The new flight service to one of the most frequently visited British cities comprises an optimal offering for local flight traffic to connect Vienna with the business location of Manchester. In addition, Austrian Airlines offers the best possible transfer connections to the federal provinces of Austria as well as to Central and Eastern Europe.

The addition of Manchester enables Austrian Airlines to expand its Western European portfolio and strengthen its presence on the British market. The airline will operate a Fokker aircraft. On balance, with Manchester and London, Austria’s national carrier now offers direct flight service to British destinations up to five times daily.
