Five Qatar Amiri Flight aircraft at Brussels Airport for the official visit of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Belgium

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the current Emir of Qatar is officially visiting Belgium between 5 and 7 March 2018. The Emir is expected to arrive at Abelag on Monday 5 March.

His Highness will use Qatar Amiri Flight for His travel, that airline is a VIP airline owned and operated by the government of Qatar. It operates worldwide charters on demand and caters exclusively to the royal family of Qatar and other VIP government staff. The vast majority of its fleet is painted in the standard livery of the commercial flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways.

To make the organization run smoothly, the emirate has already sent two Qatar Amiri Flight aircraft to Brussels on Sunday (source: forum topic BRU 04/03/2018):

  • A7-HHJ Airbus A319
  • A7-AAH Airbus A340-300

Three more Qatar Amiri Flight aircraft are expected to arrive at Brussels Airport (Abelag) on Monday: one Airbus A320 (A7-MBK) from Paris just touched down runway 25L, one Airbus A320 (A7-AAG) and one Boeing 747-8 (A7-HHE) are coming in later (forum topic BRU 05/03/2018)
