Less than three months after Brussels Airport inaugurated two spanking new plane spotting platforms near runway 25L and 01, some discontent popped up on social media about the trash that some spotters forget to take with them.
Paul Corbeel, one of the regular spotters, explains to Aviation24.be: “On the terraces there are indeed no waste bins, but at less than 200 meters you have the possibility to drop your cans and other waste. This week, I started cleaning up the mess: in less than 30 minutes I could make this “waste collection.”
Perhaps the plane spotters can take an example from the Japanese football team, who have left their locker room immaculate after their 3-2 defeat against Belgium 😉
Amazing from Japan.
This is how they left the changing room after losing v Belgium: cleaned it all.
And in the middle, have left a message to Russia: “Spasibo” (Thank you) pic.twitter.com/lrwoIZt2pR— Tancredi Palmeri (@tancredipalmeri) July 3, 2018
