Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for April 2017.
In April 2017, Wizz Air continued to expand its network and operations with the following announcements:
- Route network expansion with three new routes announced to/from Hungary (1), Poland (1), and Slovakia (1).
- Base expansion with the deployment of a second Airbus A320 aircraft to Tuzla in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
- Network expansion to 140 airports and 42 countries with the announcement of two new routes to/from Astana in Kazakhstan and Agadir in Morocco.
- Delivery of one brand new Airbus A321 aircraft taking the fleet to 80 aircraft.
