Delta Air lines flight #DL1854 from Detroit was evacuated on arrival in Denver due to smoke in the cabin. The aircraft, a Boeing McDonnell-Douglas MD90, registered N960DN carried 159 passengers. After landing the pilots ordered the immediate evacuation of the aircraft.
Shortly after the evacuation rescue services approached the aircraft, nobody got injured during the incident and the evacuation. Quite a surprise as many passengers are evacuating with their suitcase and carry-ons, which can cause injury and slows down the evacuation process.
Here is better quality video of the @Delta Detroit to Denver evacuation on the @DENAirport tarmac. Passenger who shared this reported smoke on board. DIA reports a fire on a plane. #9NEWS pic.twitter.com/3nI278q0lA
