From Sunday 28 October onwards, Brussels Airlines schedules Airbus A319 aircraft for flights between Brussels Airport and Stockholm Bromma, Aviation24.be could discover in the booking engine. On 4 June last year, Cityjet Sukhoi Superjets replaced the Brussels Airlines Avro RJ100’s on the important route. Already on 6 July, Brussels Airlines will operate a one-off Airbus A319 to Stockholm Bromma.

Currently Cityjet is operating all flights to the Swedish capital with Sukhoi Superjets, the capacity on the route will now be increased with the bigger A319. The landing and take-off, however, will be a challenge because the runway is only 1,668 meters long. Stockholm Bromma is an important destination for the Belgian airline: “Bromma” is very close to the city compared to the much bigger Stockholm Arlanda, where main competitor Scandinavian SAS is operating to/from Brussels Airport.
