In 2018 Brussels Airlines expects to hire 750 new employees, 350 employees will be hired at Brussels Airport. The others will be based in Düsseldorf, from which Brussels Airlines will operate long-haul flights on behalf of Eurowings.
Brussels Airlines currently employs 3,500 people. Spokeswoman Kim Daenen explains to Aviation24.be: “The commitments will involve both new positions and replacements. Most vacancies are for cabin crew and pilots, but also for ground staff and office.”
On Monday the Lufthansa group announced to hire more than 8,000 employees, while holiday airline TUI fly Belgium yesterday announced to hire 250 new employees in 2018.
