According to CNN Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines will soon be announcing a deal for 100 Airbus A321neo aircraft, two people familiar with the deal told Jon Ostrower, CNN aviation editor.
The deal with Airbus would mean a huge blow for big rival Boeing, a person familiar with the matter said that Delta also had been talking to Boeing about buying around 100 of its 737 Max 10 airliners.
Positive news for United Technologies unit Pratt & Whitney engines, that will build the engines for the A321neo.
