In November 2016, while capacity was reduced by 4.4 percent, airberlin recorded a virtually stable load factor featuring only a minor decrease of 0.6 percentage points, to 81.1 percent, as compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
airberlin’s accumulated load factor increased by 0.2 percentage points, to 84.7 percent.
In line with the continuous capacity consolidation, the number of passengers traveling on airberlin in November declined by 6.9 percent, to 1,808,853 passengers.
The revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) decreased by 5.1 percent to 2.972 billion kilometers in yearly comparison. The number of available seat kilometers (ASK) decreased by 4.4 percent in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year.
