Schiphol Amsterdam airport is expecting snow on Sunday (10 December) and advises passengers to take into account that there might be traffic jams on the way to the airport. Forecasts also predict a Southeasterly wind, strongly reducing the runway capacity at the airport.
Due to the snowfall, KLM has decided to cancel 94 return flights on its medium-haul network. Passengers are being advised and will be rerouted on the next available flight.
Travellers can experience delays during the day. We advise our passengers to keep a close eye on KLM.com for the most up-to-date departure and arrival information.
In Brussels too there will be snow. But no flights have been cancelled: they are not afraid of 2 cm of white powder.
