Thai Airways is warning customers and Facebook users for a free ticket scam that is currently going viral on social media: “Please be warned that the flight ticket giving activity in a certain website currently widespread on the Internet is not a real activity of Thai Airways, and neither it nor its hosting website is related to Thai Airways International Public Company Limited at all.“

It’s not the first time that a free ticket scam has gone viral, the phenomenon comes back every now and then. In August last year KLM was hit by a misleading campaign, previously also Ryanair and Brussels Airlines.
