Re: Diversions from around the globe (medical, technical, ...) 2019
Probably, since fuel is not available at AMS. Back in the air to HER.

For my info, who pays these medical diversions that appear to me more and more numerous and that surprise me. Does the carrier turn against the passenger who has insurance himself? Who can enlighten me?b.lufthansa wrote: ↑29 Jul 2019, 12:58Diversion Cairo; medical reasonsCTBke wrote: ↑29 Jul 2019, 12:54 Somehow OO-SFC diverted to GVA according to FR24

Diversion Geneva: crew duty issues
Re: Diversions from around the globe (medical, technical, ...) 2019
Crew duty issues? Very strange: continuing to Brussels would have added less than one hour to the total time.b.lufthansa wrote: ↑29 Jul 2019, 12:58Diversion Cairo; medical reasonsCTBke wrote: ↑29 Jul 2019, 12:54 Somehow OO-SFC diverted to GVA according to FR24

What now? Crew staying in a Geneva hotel? Aircraft continuing to Brussels with a new crew flown from Brussels?
At the end of the day, SN455 landed in BRU at 13:40. With which crew?

SN255 BRU-OUA, served by OO-SFC took off from BRU, currently circling above Antwerp. Loosing weight before returning to BRU?
Re: Diversions from around the globe (medical, technical, ...) 2019
On 7 August, this Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777 departed Manchester Airport destination Lahore, Pakistan. Fuel was visibly coming out of the right-hand wing during take-off roll. The pilots entered holding at 9,000 feet, came back to Manchester (for a visual inspection ?) for a low-pass on runway 23R but then climbed up again towards Lahore. Safe landing. Too many gaps in the story to write an article on the main page.
