those picutes were released at Farnborugh.... I remember seeing them. Still, looks good. Don't like the eco seats, but the airlines will put their own in anyway. The lighting is good though.

Are their 737s leased of owned? If they are owned then the 737s are worth loads, as they are modern NG types.

That wouldn't suprise me.....
Airbus need to ditch the government control that they have now. Governments should be only shareholders. 100% of the control should be in the hands of the managers of the company. It should split from EADS aswell.....

I've seen the whole of the BA system re-boot. Every screen went blank, (the flight was from Nassau to London, over December 24/25 2005, a 767 with 30 PAX) even the welcome screens, and then came on again a few minutes later, with every screen displaying the welcome screen. They wound back the tapes ...

Lucky that the expensive stuff is going by road...some of the rowing stuff costs quite a bit.....
I'm looking forward to flying on an Airbus, but not nesecarily to the TAP service. They wern't reviewed very well on Skytrax.

I would have thought that they will eventually be on 1 AOC, but at the moment they are on 2, like US Airways/America West. I would also expect to see some more aircraft enter the fleet, in the form of some more 737s (as there are staff already) replacing the BAe 146s/Avros, though I am not sure abou...

TAP Portugal-what are they like?

I am flying with TAP Portugal (I think, airline code is TP) from LGW to Oporto, and then back to Heathrow (dunno why we start from Gatwick). What are they like? I lloked on their website and couldn't find any diret London-Oporto flights, so will we have to change? I didn't book the flights, and have...

I think that their ARJ plane has something to do with the MD-80...though I can't remember 100%.
Also, who thought 20 years ago that Brazil would be such a large airliner producer?

regi, Rekkof is trying to re-start the Fokker F100 production line, not build airships. If they could re-engine it, then it could be really competetive. I belive that it almost matches the E-195 on costs, though it does lack the range.

The decline has been quite quick..... At LHR I would see DC-10s from Varig and Biamin, Now both gone. I occasionaly see an MD-11F from Eva Air, and Varig's aircraft have gone aswell. Most of the major British Charter airlines flew them, like JMC, Monarch and Airtours. Sad to dee the beautiful plane ...
