This is called a diversion. Not an emergency landing, at all.
But... smart people will have understood, I suppose

Due to strong winds at FNC, TB1911 (BRU-FNC), B737-MAX8 OO-TMB on May 8th, 2023, seems to have diverted first to PXO, and later to LPA (source FR24).
Today, FR24 didn't record any movement of the plane.
Is it still at LPA? What about the passengers that were supposed to fly to FNC, and those who were supposed to fly back to BRU?

The aircraft seems to have landed in Funchal, and has now departed towards Brussels.Duke wrote: ↑09 May 2023, 23:27Duke wrote: ↑09 May 2023, 22:30 Due to strong winds at FNC, TB1911 (BRU-FNC), B737-MAX8 OO-TMB on May 8th, 2023, seems to have diverted first to PXO, and later to LPA (source FR24).

While approaching Béziers, SN277 (OO-SFJ) was diverted to Lyon where it landed at 12.55 UTC.
Probably technical as it took off from Lyon at 15.42 UTC.

Not really. A medical diversion is perfectly plausible too.
Luggage search, overweight landing inspection & co can take a while.

TUI Airways flight #BY5442 from London Luton (LTN) to Lanzarote (ACE) (Boeing 737-800 reg. G-TAWC) diverted to Nantes Atlantique (NTE). Reason unknown, but probably medical, as the aircraft took off again to Lanzarote after a little more than one hour on the ground. Unless to get rid of unruly passengers?

A Brussels Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration OO-SFC performing flight SN-357 from Brussels (Belgium) to Kinshasa N'djili (DR Congo) with 206 passengers, was climbing out of Brussels about 140nm south of Brussels near Paris (France) when the crew observed high N2 and N3 vibrations of the right hand engine (Trent 772), decided to return to Brussels, reduced the right hand engine, drifted down to FL220 for the return and landed safely back on Brussels' runway 25R about 75 minutes after departure.
The airline reported the crew received indications of too high vibrations on one engine and returned to Brussels on one engine, although the engine was not shut down and working at reduced capacity. The passengers will depart for Kinshasa later the day.

Several weather sites indicate thunderstorms around the city of Yaounde. Perhaps weather is the reason for the diversion.rwandan-flyer wrote: ↑15 Jun 2023, 21:40 Hi
