Icelandair Cargo signed an agreement with FedEx and TNT, by which it will significantly increase its frequency to daily flights at Liege Airport.

In their 2018 activity report, they even mention a change in flight procedures. I don't know what they mean !
I heard FedEx asked for SID changes at LGG. The current SID's are (to say the least) completely inefficient, probably even more in the eyes of americans
That would be in contradiction with the environmental policy used so far by Sowaer and Walloon Region. One single departure route to minimize noise disturbances with soundproofing measures for local residents !

Doesn't european law require an environmental study now prior to change departure routes at airports ? I think I saw a statement of Minister Bellot recently about that for departure routes from BRU.
Or maybe FedEx tries to have those LGG departure routes changed before that law !

And the idiots of the belgian press converted that into a scoop... "icelandair débarque à Liège"
Icelandair is one of the oldest client of Liege.
