Where will you fly in 2009 ?

Post by zwark »

Seems I'm the first one, so here we go:

BRU-CUN on 20/01/2009 with JAF (stopover in VRA)
CUN-BRU on 30/01/2009 with JAF

I'm afraid it will be mostly the usual shuttle, nothing really exotic as far as I'm concerned but something rather exotic for the majority of J. Doe's. So Brussels-Beirut at Xmas-NY, maybe joining the rest of the family at Easter, and a good break in the Summer. Booked flights are with Malev, we'll see for the upcoming ones.

There might also be a weekend hop here or there towards the South of Europe (Spain) and some business trips (Egypt). Happy flying to all!

I haven't a clue whether or not I'll be flying anywhere, as the papers keep saying that BMI might not survive.

But if I do fly anywhere it will be to BRU but I don't know where from, possibly EMA.

Just like before, I'll be flying circuits at my home aerodrome - which I changed to EBHN.
And with any luck I might make some progress at piloting and go solo;
soon after would come navigation flights, EBAM? EBAV?
If luck AND budget AND health remain favourable...

Ok, Now I'm jealous

On topic:
2009 for me will at least include a trip to SFO (it's become a tradition to go every year) but no booking just yet.

Haven't really thought about any other trips I want to make either

I will update in this topic when bookings are arranged 8-)

With a little luck BRU-EWR on Continental, of course ;) And if I will go, I hope it will be before june, so I can still fly the 764 in stead of the T7.

Quite a long list!

B.flex and b.light might also change into Y ;)

How come that many of your outbound flights are b.flex, whereas the return is b.light?

Hi André,

Indeed a long list. I hope (maybe suprisingly for aviation entousiasts) that I can replace myself on some of those with one of my colleagues ... I have so many tasks to do that I want to be more at home (or abroad for a longer time which is also good for working intensively) ...

Regarding the light and flex. In general I follow some simple rules. I take flex when I am not sure about the start/end of my activities and/or when I have to travel during diner time (in the evening). Since I have problems with my stomach when eating too late in the evening, I like to have (light) diner on the plane ...

But as I said, for some flights this can change since not yet booked (so timing can shift) ...

Regards,
Danny
