as we heard the news that the AN-22 was going to fly LUX-AMS today, we packed ourt bags and headed to LUX. The decision to go to LUX was made because you never knwo where it will land at AMS ... runway usage can be a real mess there ...
Anyway, it was scheduled to depart at 1330L. It got pushed at 1345L and commenced engine start-up about 10 minutes later. She started taxiing at 1415L and took to the skies at 1425L fotr a short hop to AMS.


Allthough this was the third time I've seen the animal, it stays an incredible sight and sound ! I hope you like the pictures !
