The return flight is delayed even more:

Gosh, an F50 is much slower than an A320...

No problem blackhawk, it's because I'm at work that I know it.

There will be a second aircraft operating for the FQ-flight FQ9346:

G-ZAPO a BAe 146-200, I think it will be Titan Airways.

ETA 1500 ETD 1600

Reus is in the nord of Spain. I think 250 km from Gerona/Lloret de Mar. If you go on holiday in Salou you have to take the plane to Reus.

Lease in due to AOG of on of the A320's in BRU due to lightning strike upon arrival on the engine.

Same problem today with Thomas Cook.
FQ7758 to GCLP is delayed for more than 6 hours.
The Belgium Exel 767-300ER PH-AHY operates now this flight for FQ.

When you have a strict (full) schedule in the weekend and 1 a/c is grounded for half day or even more (even the day before !), then you have no other poss then looking for wet-lease in for the day itself.

Otherwise you have delays for few days before you can cover your normal schedule again.

ThomasCook, we fully understand the difficult situatuion and sympathise with the efforts of the company to get its customers to their destination. It seems that the problem is similar to that of SN with its A330s to Africa.
