But here above it was mentioned about paint.

And future OO-SBA (now F-WWIJ) made a test flight yesterday at 16:45 (landed back at 17:21)

I know, but I just follow this site to see status of aircraft: https://sites.google.com/view/europeana ... authuser=0

I just assume this is correct information, but there can always be mistakes, no ...?

MX is maintenance, while it was originally indicated as PNT (paint). I guess that is where the previous statement(s) was based on ...

I doubt they do MX and PNT at the same time.

MX throughput time depends on the type of maintenance I guess, but a D-check can take quite a while if I understood well.

Cheers,

Is it the SN pilots that are doing the tests or rather pilots from Airbus?

No idea, I only have the same info as you which is coming from posts earlier in this topic. If I can guess: combo of both Airbus and SN pilots.

Apart from that, it seems that we are coming really close to the acceptance flight and delivery to BRU now.

As a comparison A3 (Aegean) made a video a few years ago about how they do deliveries of their A320/321 aircraft and its a mix of Airbus pilots and their own at the first few test flights with the last training flights just their own pilots with some airbus pilots sitting behind them to monitor. I assume SN will have something similar.

Typically the customer does a test/acceptance flight before delivery, more if issues are found. Some airlines skip that flight or use the delivery flight for the same purpose. Airlines that order in large volume are more likely to take delivery without a test flight if the prior x test flights did not find an issue.

Acceptance flights are done by Airbus pilots (or pilots of the last user in case of end of lease or sale), with a pilot from the new owner on the jump seat and engineers from the new owner/user on board as well.
Delivery flights are usually done by pilots of the new owner. Mixing them can be dangerous, it was one of the contributing factors of the crash of a XL Germany 320. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XL_Airway ... light_888T

ETA OO-SBA 09:00, wouldn’t be surprised if it would be delayed a little bit (you know how delivery flights go)

Will Aviation24.be also provide information about the timing so that others will get the chance of catching the new plane as well?

LOL. It's just that FR24 and Brussels Airport's Instagram quite contradict each other: 0900LT or 1300LT is not that small of a difference. ;)

Take off is scheduled at 11.20am in TLS and should land around 1pm in BRU, but unforseen event can always happend. If you want to be sure, the best is simply to track the flight on flightradar24.
