Flypop says it is “very close” to securing its AOC as it seeks to launch its first passenger flights between the UK and India with A330-300s subleased from Hi Fly Malta. It seems that it's taking a lot of time to secure the AOC. Because of the "high-density" configuration?Homo Aeroportus wrote: ↑02 Nov 2021, 18:37There is an article about FlyPop in the current issue of Airports of the World.
Nino Singh Judge explains that these aircraft when operating with Cebu Pacific were configured in a single class layout with 436 seats.
FlyPop will provide better legroom for the front rows resulting in a reduced capacity of 412. (3+3+3).
I guess these birds will be ETOPS certified, Extended Toilet Operations
Thanks but no thanks.
