Re: Boeing 737 (MAX) news
Actually, it's not only Boing who can offer the financing. Leasing companies shift their focus towards sale-leaseback transactions in order to make some money. This resulted in BOC financing 10 Max8 for Southwest with delivery 2020-2021. Though this resulted in BOC cancelling 30 Max, it's a win-win for Boeing, the airline and the leasing company. AA probably will not be leasing from external leasing companies given its credit rating, but others may do so.sn26567 wrote: ↑13 Jul 2020, 18:46American Airlines told Boeing it will not take delivery of 17 B737 MAX aeroplanes unless it can secure financing to pay for the aircraft.
