"Comfortably densify"? I have my doubts!

Re: Trivia 2019 (miscellaneous news)
Not really.
It's the cabin that gets denser,
It's AF wallet that gets more comfy.
As a colleague years ago in South Africa was used to say, being a contractor in TDY for 2 full years :
"I'am happily married. My wife feels married, and I feel happy". No contradiction

"...International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) (Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level, Vueling, …) this morning announced the definitive transaction of Air Europa. The third-largest airline in Spain, after Vueling and Iberia, will be placed under wholly owned subsidiary Iberia. The deal is worth €1 billion..."

I wonder if the European Commission (anti-trust) will accept this merger/take over.

Re: Trivia 2019 (miscellaneous news)
Indeed. Such a merger would considerably reduce the competition within Spain and to South America. The three largest Spanish airlines (1. Iberia 2. Vueling 3. Air Europa) together? The EC will ask them to abandon a lot of routes.Passenger wrote: ↑04 Nov 2019, 20:57 "...International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) (Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level, Vueling, …) this morning announced the definitive transaction of Air Europa.
