Brussels Airport at Google Earth is updated...

Google Earth updated the map of Brussels Airport to a very recent situation. You see far more equipment then the previous picture and you get a nice view of the construction works of Diabolo.

Picture is from a few months ago when OO-CBA was still standing in front of SN Technics, while now it is standing in front of LH Technik.

The date is on the bottom in Google Earth: July 31st 2009.

Yep, FINALLY with the new terminal, I'd say...

Not the entire country is updated however, but you can see the new station buildings of Leuven and Liege.

And at least is a bit more interesting to see some equipment at BRU in stead of the boring previous picture

BTW:
There is also Bing Maps there you can see pictures taken from aircraft instead of satellites thus more detailed, it is underneath aerial, birds eye, you have to zoom in quite allot but it looks very nice

For Liège, it's for sure last summer, the train station is pretty much over, and the "mediacité" is clearly visible.
And as already said, the B cargo 747 is not parked in LGG, so it's before 1st september.

Fun detail: looks like there was a very serious accident that day at the airport that was never reported here: look at the Jet AW A330 parked on the north side of the B-pier, near the end of the pier
