Seems like it was a tricky landing... The A380 was skidding just after touchdown... Just look at the video's.
What happened?
I think it landed on the back left wheels first, then the right wheels, the whole thing skids sideways, the front wheel smokes up because it was straight, but the plane is not. the rudder flares out immediately and it corrects. there was no wind.

There are no strangers in the world, just friends we have yet to meet.
The landing at LAX was bad enough for the newsmen reporting the landing live to comment on it. I thought the AC really came down hard at LAX, you can see the wings really flex downward and a lot of tire smoke. I saw a video of the landing in JFK. This was smoother then the landing in LAX but the nose of the AC still swerved as the nose wheel touched. I wonder what the tire life is on the A380.
