Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Just had two great flights with Brussels Airlines (both perfectly on time): BRU - NAP on 30/06 (A320, OO-SNL), loadfactor around 80% NAP - BRU on 14/07 (A320, OO-SNK), loadfactor around 50-60% On both flights, there was a very friendly cabin crew, especially on the return flight as there was a cabin...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2020

Ditch SN and LH (who has never had any interest in it besides protecting its backyard) and support Air Belgium instead. Transfer the african rights to them and lease a small fleet of short haul aircraft that focuses on feeding, maybe that’s the better solution. I still fear the african market is fa...

Very true. Some posts over here are completely ridiculous and have nothing to do with aviation.

Re: Boeing 737 (MAX) news

Michael O’Leary said yesterday that Ryanair is in talks with Boeing about ordering more Max 200s, a high-capacity variant of the baseline Max 8 model specified by Ryanair, together with the airline's first batch of bigger Max 10s. The possible order would be delivered between 2024 and 2028.

OO-SFB ;)

And said SFB is currently on her way back to EBBR.
This morning, OO-SFX left as SN9905 to Amman

I read on De Standaard that a strap around a suitcase broke off and as a result blocked the bagage system.

Re: BRU Winter 2019-2020: news, new routes, airlines

Brussels Airlines will operate 5 flights a week to Kigali, instead of 6 (during the last IATA Winter season), from 28 October 2019 to 28 March 2020. The 6 weekly service will be back, from 31 March 2020. I don't think it's related with the arrival of Egyptair, in Rwanda, in April 2019, which now se...

Is any aircraft AOG? That flight was delayed >5 hours and generally TB had lots of delays yesterday 737MAX rings a bell? Someone any idea whether you can take a camera with you (take pictures) and how long the visit is? Thanks in advance :) I was there last year, and it is indeed allowed to take pictures in the control tower (the training floor indeed). Boeing received a US$3.9 billion contract to build two B747-8s for use as Air Force One by the US president, due to be delivered by December 2024. I might be wrong, but wasn't it the plan to modify two 747-8s that are already built (for Transaero I think) but that are now gathering dust and sand so...
