Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

Personally i foresee some european flights to be axed and somemore being outsourced to cityjet, perhaps Eurowings. And along with that......yes redundancies as well.

Re: Air Antwerp, a new airline from Antwerp Deurne airport

I am really wondering what they will do if that 1 aircraft is AOG?? I think it is vital that there is some reliability in this early proces, especially when attracting new customers.

Re: Air Antwerp, a new airline from Antwerp Deurne airport

But is there a market for travelers from Antwerp (or Belgium in general) to Belfast City, Edinburgh, Exeter and Jersey, willing to pay the price of a stopover at LCY? Reverse that question: are ppl in Edinburgh, exeter etc interested to fly to antwerp???? I think when considering routes, there need...

Re: Air Antwerp, a new airline from Antwerp Deurne airport

Fokker aircraft never were comfortable, but to start operations on a short flight, if the fares are ok for the route and perhaps if they offer a Business class with the seat "next to you" free, it could work. I like te livery. At least no traditonal dull white and blue. All the best, Air Antwerp ! ...

I foresee a lot more flights will be outsourced together with making crews redundant.

My opinion.

So two airlines from ANR to London City?
A request for slots does not mean that the airlines will use them.
Why do all the effort then in requesting them?? :?
To sell them again with profit??

Closing down routes is not always a good idea: it will make the competition stronger and will also attack your profitable routes. It’s a difficult task!
Thatswhy giving those routes to a acmi partner!!

LUFTHANSA announces a re-orientation of Brussels Airlines: closer alignment with Network Airlines; integration into Eurowings will not be further pursued.

The best news ever. :D
Together with my holiday, sunny weather, this news makes me smile as well. Happy for the SN employees. :D :D :D

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2019

I am not a SN pilot but it is true that their salary is not the greatest. Cutting even more in that is a disgrace. If i would be one of them, i would start thinking going somewhere else or changing career. I wish them all the best.
