And a detailed article in English that almost reveals the business plan of Red Wings for its LED-BRU flights:

KLM launches thrice-weekly flights to Boston in Summer 2019. This flight comes in addition to the two daily flights operated by Delta.

Isn't it about time that SN also launches flights to Boston? It has been suggested here many times: Boston is a thriving city!

The picture looks different when we compare seat capacity:
  • airBaltic's CS300 have 145 seats * 3 = 435 seats a week (one-way)
  • LOT/Nordica's CRJ900 have 88 seats * 10 = 880 seats a week (one-way)
So the 3 BT-flights account for 50% of LO's seat capacity

I wonder in how far these flights are necessary or will be profitable. I was a few days ago on the flight from BRU to TLL and load factor was only about 60%. Maybe it was just a calmer day. Could be of course.

Well, when Estonian Air went bankrupt, Estonian media said Tallinn-Brussels was the only really profit making route.

Estonian Air and Now Nordica/LOT easily ask €200/300 one way.
Most of the time, these flights are full

But not during summer, you're right. A friend of mine flew back home from Brussels and he was the only passenger. And still, he paid €600 for the flight! It's often cheaper to fly with Scandinavian (Not de Valhalla of cheap tickets, but there you go) or Lufthansa.

So I'm very very happy Baltic is trying it out.
Do they codeshare with SN BTW?

I'm not going to fly with them (Not in Star Alliance, also the reason i won't fly EW), but I'm very very very happy. I did fly with them in the past via RIX, and they're a really nice company.

Finnair’s Belgian customers will soon be able to benefit from flying on the Finnish flag-carrier’s wide-body aircraft between Belgium and Finland for Winter 2018 and Summer 2019.

Then ... the information needs to be loaded in GDS. We have the information first-hand.
