This looks rather unusual.

The war between Gaza and Israel is bringing a lot of "anomalies" in Belgian skies. Today, 7 October, the two Brussels Airlines flights to Tel Aviv were cancelled. The Ryanair flight from Charleroi to Tel Aviv did take off but returned to base after flying over Germany. More cancellations and/or diversions are to be expected in the coming days.

Seems that Ryanair still keeps flying to/from TLV to various destinations...
Also EK seems to keep flying to TLV..
Unlike most other European/US carriers...

Two interesting flights from BRU to Tel Aviv so far today: A USAF C-17 and now a Harmony Jets FA50 is about to land at TLV!

Looks like TUI would like to create a "horse racecourse" in the Antwerp area. ;)

Well that's a pretty normal "entering the holding".
And "horse racecourse" is pretty close, but "racetrack procedure" is a correct terminology. :)

I know they were inquiring about the runway state while still over France, if I remember well it was still runway condition code 5/5/5 (='good').
So not sure what the issue was, especially if you look at the subsequent positioning flight to BRU, where things didn't go as planned either (and not ATC related is my guess)...

I wouldn't trust too much FR24 on this. If you look at the history of flight QR8834, it seldom operates to Liège. Probably LHR was the intended destination. You will see that from LHR it will be flying to LUX, and not LGG.

Hmmm, that statement gives the impression that everything was kept well under control (by the police)....Well, I don't know what these eco-terrorists saw or not, but they surely invaded the safety area of runway 11 (on this photo) and the air-side of the airport, with a group of about 30 criminals, running in the direction of the nearby 'general aviation' parking (with the 'private jets' apron still half a kilometer away)

On 21 December, Ryanair flight FR614 from Brussels South Charleroi to Manchester (Boeing 737-800 reg. EI-DLD) squawked 7700 shortly before landing at Manchester. The aircraft circled some time south of Manchester before finally diverting to Liverpool. The diversion might be weather-related (storm Pia).
