Airfield opens at 09:00 so expect it to depart later in the morning.

Edit: departing 09:00 from Brussels.
What is the reason for the visit to Woensdrecht?

Re: Diversions from around the globe (medical, technical, ...) 2023

Due to strong winds at FNC, TB1911 (BRU-FNC), B737-MAX8 OO-TMB on May 8th, 2023, seems to have diverted first to PXO, and later to LPA (source FR24). Today, FR24 didn't record any movement of the plane. Is it still at LPA? What about the passengers that were supposed to fly to FNC, and those who we...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal

That's not a fleet renewal topic, but crew renewal! ;) Lots of people are leaving the company for other airlines, like Air France or KLM. Or they seek jobs elsewhere outside aviation. It's a good sign that they hire new people, but I am afraid that the understaffing will remain throughout Summer 20...

Lufthansa Group always said that the best performing airlines get the newest aircraft. I guess that the group sees more opportunities at OS hence the renewal of aircraft.

Thanks for more information.
The flight number towards Budapest starting with a 9 indicates a ferry flight. Hence, maintenance (long/short term) is most likely the reason.

I would suggest to nationalize them, or make them an essential part of an airport. They are not able to buy new equipment/tools/vehicles, and a constant race to the bottom.

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

While looking at the infrastructure, I don't like the walkway towards the airport terminal. The "garage" look at the bus-level is boring, dull and looks messy. Perhaps the smokers just next to the entrance doors could also be moved to a smokers area? The drop-off is simply to use, yet cars...
