It seems that the new forum has introduced a strange new ranking system. 8O
Apart from the Administrators who get a ranking of no less than six planes (!) (twice as many as the number of Michelin stars for the very best retaurants), it seems that everyone else is an Embraer member (whatever that means) with one poor lonely single plane only.
Could any of the very distinguished six-star Administrators please explain the basis for the ranking and the different steps to the top?

Lot of forums have different rankings, I have choosen aircrafts, rating from the least capacity to the highest capacity except for the concorde-level 8)
Here are the rankings:
Cessna-member 1 message no plane
Embraer-member 6 messages
Avro RJ100-member 50
Boeing 737-member 100
Airbus 320-member 250
Boeing 747-member 500
Airbus 380-member 1000
Concorde-member 5000
Hope this helps 28 more messages and you can promote yourself to Avro RJ100-member

Frederic,
I don't agree with you. Going from B737 to A320 is a real promotion. Bigger plane (in general), but most important wider seats: especially the abhorred middle seat which is wider in the A320 than in the B737. Very important when the plane is fully booked.
Another suggestion to Bart: most levels have a well defined plane. Why not the same for Cessna and Embraer. For the latter, I suggest the RJ140.

Meerkat and Luchtzak,
I may be heading the rankings at this moment, but the administrators get 6 planes, whatever the number of their postings.
That's unfair competition
I'll complain at the European Commission

André, I don't know but is the ranking really soooooo important?
I mean, we are not in the military here where you actually have benefits of having more stars and stripes.
Admins on all websites have the maximum of stars...
The most important thing about this forum is the quality, and I find the quality we have now very good. There are nice discussions going on, it's not a dead forum like you will find on a lot of privat websites.
For the rest: don't expect a reply of luchtzak soon, since his is enjoying the sun right now somewhere on our almighty planet
Regards
Frederic

Check https://www.aviation24.be/modules.php?name ... file=ranks, it gives you a nice overview of the current ranking-system.
So, no difference in the number of planes for an Administrator, a Concorde (RIP ) member or an A380 member?luchtzak wrote:Check https://www.aviation24.be/modules.php?name ... file=ranks, it gives you a nice overview of the current ranking-system.
