Bad news for Liege Airport. Steven Verhasselt was the man who made the airport what it is now.

His name was also mentioned in the Nethys scandal which led to the dismissal of Luc Partoune, the former Liege Airport CEO. Could there be a link between those 2 events ?

It was mentioned indeed that Steven Verhasselt earned more than the maximum set by the Walloon Government for public servants, but I'm not sure that it is the main reason.
