There seem to be a lot of delayed flights...Was the airpott closed tonight?

Delays/postponements might depend on company-standards or (non-)benefits on winds ;)

I don't think the airport was closed. But according to RTBF, all cargo flights from last night were cancelled (or I'd rather say postponed)
