SNBA in codeshare to Malta and Oviedo?

Post by DannyVDB »

Hi all,

Was just looking at the BIAC website.

It seems that after codesharing on the Brussels-Sofia route, SNBA will start code sharing on Brussels-Malta (KM) and Brussels-Oviedo (IB) route.

8O

Can anyone confirm?

SN5683 1..4.67 BRU-MLA (20.10-22.50) - A319 (except on Monday, 737)
SN5682 1..4.67 MLA-BRU (15.50-19.00) - A319 (except on Monday, 737)

SN5247 1.3.5.7 BRU-OVD (13.45-15.45) - CRJ
SN5246 1.3.5.7 OVD-BRU (11.15-13.10) - CRJ

Regards,
Danny

Nice to see that Malta will be an SN destination.

But seeing the flight numbers I suppose that the flights won't be operated by SN planes, will they ?

Correct, it's KM and IB that do the flight. The IB flight from Oviedo is the new one for this winter schedule.

I also tried to check codeshare flights of SNBA to Larnaca in December. Are not available anymore in the booking engine of SNBA. Dot they stop this codeshare? :(

Can someone make me a new banner, something with "SN Operated By Airlines" in it so I can update my signature? And a codeshare here, a codeshare there, everywhere a codeshare. The only thing they know at SN are codeshare agreements.

If it is true. It is not the first time information on BIAC's website is wrong ...

On the other hand, there is no problem in collaborating. On a thin route like Brussels-Malta and even more Brussels-Oviedo, operating separate lines would be suicide

My 10 cent ...

According to the OAG, Malta MLA is not yet codeshared between KM and SN, but Asturias OVD is.

Quite normal, since most Spanish destinations are now codeshared between SN and IB.

I checked the system here today and it is true. SN is to codeshare on the OVD route. It will be operated by Air Nostrum with the CRJ.
