BRU 19 sept spotting. With pics

Post by MD-11 »

Arrived at RWY25L on this rather sunny day, at around 11:45AM.
This time I was all alone, not like last Sunday the 12th
First one I saw arrive was this Biman Bangladesh DC-10-30
Image
Reg S2-ACQ flight BG012 from New York
If I'm correct ( searched on biac.be ) than this Air Dolomiti CRJ100 reg I-ADJE is performing as flight LH5924 from Munich. :?
Is this info correct? Don't these 2 airlines code-share like André mentioned in another topic?

Nice to see a pax B727 at BRU. This is reg 7T-VEX( ) flight AH2064 from Oran.
Image
United B767-300 reg N656UA backtracking on RWY07R-25L
Image
Flight UA951 to Washington and San Fransisco lining-up on RWY25L for take-off.
Image
Air Baltic Avro RJ75 reg YL-BAL flight BT601 from Riga
Image
This time I didn't need Bottie to recognise this "bird" with my binoculars.
Gold on the forward fuselage, gold and blue engines ( 4 of them ).
Has to be a Gulf Air A340. It was heading west so my guess is LHR.
While I was waiting for the Icelandair from PUJ RWY was changed for landing.
So with some other spotters we drove to the graveyard of Steenokkerzeel to spot at 25R.
Image
B737-400 reg TC-MNF of MNG Pax, flight MNB1305 from Dalaman.
RYR8023 told me the correct registration. I wrote HNF at first.
Thanks RYR8023
Image
Vueling A320-200 reg EC-JAB flight VLG6020 from Valencia
Image
Crossair Embraer ERJ145 reg HB-JAL flight LX780 from zurich
Image
Does this one need any explanation?
Reg 9V-SFG
Image
Bulgaria Air B737-300 reg LZ-BOM 8O ( funny reg for a plane, bom = Dutch for bomb ) flight FB7851 from Bourgas
Image
With an 8 hour delay flight FI1888 from Punta Cana and Puerto Plata.
B767-300ER reg TF-FIB
Image
Portugalia PGA Embraer ERJ145 reg CS-TPJ flight NI906 from Porto
Image
SNBA Airbus A319-100 reg OO-SSM flight SN3268 from Istanbul
Image
Thomas Cook A320-200 reg OO-TCC flight FQ7513 from Heraklion.
Image
Cathay Pacific B747-200F, couldn't read the reg.

Condor B757-200 reg D-ABNO flight DE8975 from Rhodes

Beautiful photos Bart. I especially like the Air Dolomiti one, as I was prevented from taking one of that aircraft last week because that is when the police arrived.

If you want to see interesting Balkan Holidays aircraft, go to MAN because their flights are operated by the Tu154, and that's a real beauty with that distinctive livery.

I also went spotting but went to the refugee center today. I came when the Air Dolomiti arrived.

But it seems you made the right choice by switching the spot to 25R. I stayed at 25L, and still wonder why ALL traffic suddenly arrived on 25R

Anyway here are a few pics I made:

Bottie,

Just saw the following picture on pp.net:

http://www.planepictures.net/netshow.php?id=260458

You say it's HZ-AND, but as far as I can see on the front part of the body it's HZ-ANC which you saw.
