I thought that the Ryanair pilots did not have the maps of expensive airports (including BRU) in their portfolio. In order to incite them not to divert to such airports, but rather to look at cheaper alternatives.

Three other Ryanair diversions landed at LGG: from Faro, Vilnius and Warsaw Okecie.

The CRL website says that JAF2408 due at 22:05 from CASABLANCA will be diverted to BRU...

They do, they carry the regular Jeppesen bricks with every (major) airport in Europe. It's company policy to divert to:
  1. Ryanair bases;
  2. Ryanair destinations;
  3. Other airports.
