Flight to LHBP was with an Airbus A319, reg. OO-SSC (seat 16A) flown by a very friendly captain Dirk Creupelandt who also is chief instructor with CAE Flight Academy. Beside the FO there was also a trainee pilot.
Take-off was from a wet RWY25R with a TOW of 61,3 tons of which 11,3 tons of fuel. Zero Fuel weight was 50,3 tons. Following speeds were calculated... V1: 135 kts, Vr: 139 kts and V2: 144 kts. They made a SOPOC 3C SID. Cruise was on FL370 with a mach speed of 0,78, a IAS of 254kts, a GS of 511 kts and a TAS of 443 kts. Wind was 254°/75kts. OAT was minus 62°C and TAT was minus 36°C.
STAR was in LHBP RUTOL 3R and landing occured after 90 minutes with a Vref of 123kts and a weight of 57,2 tons, so fuel used was 4,1 tons
Returnflight on sunday was with Avro RJ 100, reg. OO-DWA (seat 20A) with 39,5 tons and FOB 6,5 tons.
Take-off from RWY 13L with V1: 130kts, Vr: 134 kts and V2: 139 kts. A GILEP 1D SID towards a FL of 32000 feet and a cruise speed of 0,70 mach. An IAS of 252kts, GS: 404kts and a TAS: 406 kts. Wind was 201°/32kts, OAT was minus 33°C. After 1hr50' they made a BATTY 3A STAR to land on RWY 25L with a V ref of 116 kts and a weight of 35,4 tons, so fuel used was 4100 kgs

Thanks for all the details. So, the Avro RJ100 uses as much fuel as the Airbus A319!
But why does the pilot take so much fuel with him: he could make three times the trip with one fuel load.

Mind the fact, that Europe these days is experiencing lots of heavy headwings and tailwinds

The Avro's optimum level is lower. Small tailwind, not that significant.Fuel tankering I guess.

The RJ100 burns almost the same as the A319 indeed.
However, when you can't fill those extra seats of the A319, you pay extra for leasing, maintenance, insurance and crew, for nothing. That's why it's idiot to keep adding A319/A320's to fly to destinations where SN can barely fill a RJ85/100 at acceptable yields.
It's better to take more Q400's, that fly at half the cost of the Avro RJ85 and fill them with the 70 most paying passengers.
