Hi all,

Seems like OO-SBB will start commercial flights tomorrow 6/02, first to Paris, then to London.

If I understood well later this year it will get its Tomorrowland livery, now it is still white.

Cheers,
Danny

And also OO-SFX will return to service tomorrow, flying to Douala.

But I do not see when it was flying back to BRU ...

Can we expect until the start of the summer season more A333 to be repainted and/or going for maintenance ...?

I guess repaint takes around 1 month, while 'heavy' maintenance takes even a bit more ...

OO-SFC is supposed to fly today to MAN, as SN9905, probably for maintance, while OO-SFX retuns to BRU as SN9904.

It seems very difficult to get planes back into technical maintenance...are these returns canceled one after the other? Maintenance not completed? Are we scheduling returns too early?

Any news on OO-SBC? I'm under the impression deliveries at SN seem to take longer than other airlines, but for sure I'm not an expert and probably wrong.

It was spotted end of January at TLS, already painted in the new "measles" livery of SN, however still wearing the test registration F-WWBP, on a test flight (see last page in this thread). No news since.
Best regards,

Interview with SN Ceo on Luchtvaartnieuws.
Very general comment re future renewal and extension of fleet.
Maybe more intteresting for SN and BRU is the ',promotion' of Dieter Vranckx to COO of LH group.
Maybe he can help CS to discover BRU as a Hub, and SN as potentially as good a partner airline as LX or OS.

Interesting article on Luchtvaartnieuws today. SN would like to receive more A320neo's in the future.
They are also looking for the replacement of the A330. The A330neo and B787-9 are in the picture. The A330neo is however not in the current LH group fleet. More chance for the B787-9 I think

Would like or is likely to...?

I would like to have a yacht some day, but it's not likely I will... 😉

But the A330 fleet is relatively young they still can fly more than 10 years with Brussels Airlines is it not the perfect material for the flights to Africa?

They have to change there interior more often but that's it!?

This is the info via Luchtvaartnieuws, it's "would like". But yes, why not. Their A319 and A320 starts to be old. As they do a group order, they can have more in the future, why not.

We should be happy that they are looking for replacements and finally having newer material

We don't know about which term they are talking about. Can be 5 or 7 years or how long they have to wait for the production slots.
The A330 is indeed a very good plane to do the African destinations bcs climate conditions are harder there. But on the other hand a lot more airlines are flying there who are not A330
