Name the plane...

Post by MD-11 »

A thirsty "bird" gets a fresh load of JET A-1 fuel on the LHR ramp.
To loyal "Airways" readers this drawing will look familiar.
I made it from a pic in the April issue about LHR ground ops.
If you try to guess the plane type and airline, the fuselage color isn't completely accurate but I don't have the right pencil for it

An A340 of Gulf Air (if the orange should be gold).

Glad to see all those correct responses.
I see the luchtzak members know their stuff
It's indeed a Gulf Air A340-313 in new colors.
This drawing took a few hours.

Awsome drawing. It's my new favorite! I love the fuel truck. It has so much detail.
