il-76 down in Entebbe: 7 fatalities

Seems the plane crashed into Lake Victoria soon after take off.

It looks like it was a humanitary flight to Mogadiscio.
The plane, an illuyshin 76, registration S9-SAB operated by Aerolift and chartered by Dynacorp was flying from Entebbe airport to Somalia with tents and water purification equipment for the African Mission to Somalia (AMSOM).

a bit off topic. But I wonder already a long time how the African inland airports are provided with aircraft fuel. Entebbe, Kinshasha, Kigali, Bujumbura, Bangui etcetera.
By truck I suppose. But that must be quite some organisation and expensive, due to distances and bad roads. Also tricky to keep the quality and prevention of theft.
