And, can someone tell me why there was a Cargo B plane at the A terminal this week? I guess it must have been 04/09.

I know from a pilot of Cargo B that OO-CBB is on the way back from PEK !

It'll be in BRU this week.

Tests to put widebodies at Pier A. These tests were done to see if widebodies do not disturb the sensitive area for ILS of rwy25R. Ethiopian 763 was at the A pier, beside the Cargo B 742.

I read some time ago the purchase of the 3rd 747-200F was delayed/cancelled. So is there a 3rd one coming (although it might be another one than initially planned) or are they looking for a 3rd one?

I know some of their staff are dreaming of a 747-400F, but I have no clue about the possibility

The 3rd plane will be a 400F (4th plane also), foreseen in october ... it seems to be in a hangar for painting in Asia somewhere ...

So the 3rd and 4th(!) plane are going to be 400F's? It's actually the first time I hear something about a 4th plane, good to hear though. They might have had an unlucky start, but things are gearing up now.

Some time ago I red an interview with Rob Kuypers about this new cargo company, routes and fuel costs. He declared that the search of a B747-200 was ended and that they were looking for a B747-400. Normaly it was foreseen for 2010 but due to the high fuel cost they speeded it up to 2008-2009.

I hope to seen it soon at Brussels Airport with new cargo destinations.

PS: the arrival of tomorrow of CBB is posponned -> timetable of Brussels Airport.

Are we talking about B747-400F's that came out as such from the factory or about B747-400BCF's?

The first one has a better payload (and maybe range) if I'm not mistaken, and I don't see anyone owning selling them on the second hand market just yet. The second one is bound to be aplenty as the B747-400 passenger jet is phased out of the world's fleets.

07.50 h Frunze BB4301 Cancelled
07.50 h Shanghai BB4301 Cancelled

Google Maps tell me that Frunze another name is for Bishkek, the capital of Kyrghyzstan.

According to CBB-staff, OOCBB will carry freight ex China. This could explain the additional stop.
