Does someone know where I can find a recorded sound of the take-off, the sound that you hear when you are sitting in the aircraft?

No, but if you ask i'm sure someone will record it during his/her next take-off :wink:
Unfortunately I'm not scheduled to fly this year (until now) so I couldn't do that :(

Not in real life but : Flight Simulator 2004 has very realistic sounds of aircraft engines.

The sound of B737 taking off from the cockpit is quite something. Haven't figured out how to take of on the B747 so that must be even louder.
