Thanks for your explanation!

I knew that there existed mirror frequencies, but I didn't know that these mirrors could fall within the frequency modulation (FM) band... :)

I'm able to follow the ATC like this on 97.00 FM for already two years without any problems. But, indeed, a scanner is always better. If I buy one, what kind of specifications (channels, fraquenties, ... ) does it need to have because I know nothing about it.

An example of a good scanner is a Uniden Bearcat.
