SNBA is moving closer and closer to ONEWORLD.

Nevertheless SNBA will deny it, they are moving closer and closer to the oneworld alliance.
If you look at their current code-share agreement you can't deny this.
(oneworld members code-share partners)

I agree with you ATC. Personally I think that SNBA will join OneWorld in the future.

But first they should stay independant for a while. They have to be profitable and grow. Otherwise they'll just be "eaten" by a big alliance.

That's why I hope this won't happen in the near future ;)

All I want is to see SNBA become very BIG :P

Sorry, but could anyone tell me why OneWorld partners might want SNba to join their alliance?

Surely they've got enough hubs in Europe already and SN's reduced African network (operated by Birdy) can't attract them so much...
The only reason I could think of is that big, empty and unused airport of BRU.

Currently SN code-shares with anyone who's willing to work with them, so I don't think that gives us so much of an indication for the future.

hi vflies.
I think oneworld need SNBA very strongly.
They already lost KLM and Heathrow is crowdy the only hub in nord europe they have is Zurich.
If you compare to STAR Frankfurt,Munich,Copenhagen,Vienna,Stockholm,Oslo, warsaw, and they have BMI in Heathrow(conecting with United)and Sanair in Madrid.

I wouldn't say that SN's network is reduced in Africa. SN has many flights in central Africa, and I doubt that many other carriers have that much flights to that region of Africa.
